Code of Conduct for Players and Participants

In the spirit of the game of hockey and fair play for all:

Learn and play by the rules
Play for fun and enjoyment
Be a good sport – win with modesty and lose with dignity.
Recognise and applaud good play
Respect coaches, team-mates, opponents, officials and their decisions – treat them as you would like to be treated.
Arrive in good time for sessions wearing appropriate kit – remember shin pads and gum shields.
Always warm up and cool down at the end of a session.
Inform the person who is coaching you if you have or have had any injuries or illness since they last saw you.
Inform the person in charge of your session if you need to leave early – or if you know you may arrive late next time.
You are not allowed to smoke, consume alcohol or drugs whilst on premises or whilst representing the Club at any competition.
