The Royals are the club's (indeed the country's) last line of defence against the forces of oppression, darkness, common-sense and sobriety. We take our hockey fairly seriously unless the opposition start doing impressive warm-up routines or turn up in matching tracksuits in which case we default to piss-taking, laughter and snotty remarks about over-achievers.
