This season the crowds are going to think THD stands for ‘That Hockey’s Delightful’, as we lay the foundations for league domination. The skill and ambition of the fresh new faces, combined with the craft and guile of the old guard, has the makings for a magnificent 1st XI. This Team is ‘going for gold’ (Bob Monkhouse will not be featured), and all involved have a hunger to pull together in the right direction and board the promotion steam train....next stop pleasure town!

With a healthy mix of not-quite-over-the hill wily old tricksters and keen young bucks the 2's work hard both on and off the pitch. Playing 'sexy hockey with attitude' no 50-50 is pulled out of and no opposition left un-barracked. Underestimate them at your peril...

A do-or-die, heart on your sleve stop at nothing to win mentality sweeps across this group of fine young individuals who opitimise the THDHC attitude of fun first then hockey. No finer bunch of good looking and talented individuals will you find in Dulwich, either on the pitch or in the bar and if you see any of them say hello and buy a round.

London League Division 4
After ten years of nearly, season 2010/11 saw the 4XI promoted to Division 4 whilst collecting the Division 5 Cup on the way. For a team of near retirees it was some achievementÉ.
Season 2011/12 brings new challenges and hopefully new (younger) players to a team looking to step up at the next level. Whilst off the pitch the team looks to maintain its standing as one of the clubs most sociable teams.

The Royals are the club's (indeed the country's) last line of defence against the forces of oppression, darkness, common-sense and sobriety. We take our hockey fairly seriously unless the opposition start doing impressive warm-up routines or turn up in matching tracksuits in which case we default to piss-taking, laughter and snotty remarks about over-achievers. Put simply we are THE team to play for at THD and we'll kill you if you say differently...

THD's newest team launched for the 09/10 season and doing well. The emphasis is on fun: all welcome. If you are new to hockey, don't to it too seriously, coming back from injury, made a new year's resolution, stepping up from the Academy, then the Saracens are for you! Give us a try - we can guarantee that you won't regret it! Mid-season interest very welcome!

We have enjoyed a lot of success in recent years, consistently finishing in the top 4 of the league and winning the cup in 2007 and therefore hope for more of the same in the 2008-09! However changes are afoot for the Women's 1st XI this year as several experienced players have somehow managed to find better things to do with their time (I find this strange as well), and so we will be welcoming new faces on board. We will hope for some tall hockey players, a girlfriend for Casement and a few youngsters so that those of us who are starting to creak slightly can retire soon to play golf on Saturday's instead. How this season will pan out remains to be seen, however can everyone please note that the Captain of the Titanic was also called EJ and we all know how that worked out...

The 2s frustratingly missed out on promotion by a whisker last season.in the end it came down to other teams' results on the final match day of the season, though luckily despite this disappointment it didn't stop the 2s celebrating in true style at the end of season dinner that same night!
Looking forward, we will go into the league with a team that learnt a lot and produced some fantastic hockey last season. New players from 2007 have now jelled into the team, so that we are fitter, faster and more skillful.can we be stopped, I doubt it!
Surrey League Div 2
The 3s is a fun, friendly and healthily competetive team who are always up for a laugh on and off the pitch. With a large influx of new players last year (including me!) mixed with the more experienced ones from years before, we had a fantastic season, finishing 4th in the league. We all enjoy the socials as much as the hockey and could never be accused of taking ourselves too seriously!

The 4s are a friendly, sociable and yet mildly competitive bunch with a fantastic team spirit both on and off the pitch. We finished 7th in the league last year, but all agreed that we can do much better than this, and are therefore more motivated than ever to win and push for promotion this year. WeÕve had a great start to the season and with some brilliant new talent there is nothing (apart from 9 other teams) stopping our league domination!

Surrey League Div 6
T5 are looking forward to the season in a new division aiming to work hard and brush off the demons from seasons past. We are looking for a record goal scoring season with club medals to be won and drinking out of teapots to be run of the mill. With a committed new social secretary we are gearing up to a year of fab social events with all players having had strict instructions on appropriate off pitch footwear we should be raring to go.
Surrey League Div 8
With some enthusiastic and competitive hockey, the sixes had a great season on the pitch, finishing mid-table for the second year running. We also had a stonking season off it. Whilst not the most skilled team in the club, we like to think we're the most sociable, home or away we're always quick to find the nearest pub. If you're keen to play a bit of hockey and have a drink and laugh, the sixes is for you!
South Indoor League
2005/6 has been the best year to date with the side finishing 3rd at South Finals night, with by far the best defensive record. The mix of youth and experience seemed to work. There was no league in 2006/07 or 08/09 but there was in 07/08 when THD finished 5th.
Battersea Mixed League
A new season but the same old philosophy... if it ain't fun then it ain't worth doing! Of course the most fun is winning which is something that the Dragons do with style. This team is all about social and the odd tour. Players are welcomed from throughout the club - no-one is too good or too bad.
This is the 'team' to join if you like your hockey social. Never let the hockey get in the way of a good time and combining it with the all important mix of boys & girls that Saturday hockey sadly lacks... and the boys DO pass to the girls!!!! Like a beer with your hockey or just love success then get in touch...

The club runs weekly indoor hockey at Harris Academy in Merton. These sessions are open to everyone and are aimed more at having fun, improving stick skills and fitness rather than formal indoor hockey.
Time: 9pm on Mondays @ Harris Academy Merton
Is very easy to access from the A23. Travelling from London out towards Croydon, the pitch is located in a residential area in Norbury, which is shortly after Streatham. Turn right off the A23 on to Northborough Road and travel down there until you reach a crossroads with Manor way opposite, Rowan Road on the right & Wide Way on the left. School is on your left, the entrance is 100yrds down the road. Open up map >>>
Mixed HA Trophy
From the start of the 2008/09 season Tulse Hill & Dulwich split the HA Trophy away from the regular mixed side. This side competes only in the HA Trophy although many of its players still play & tour with the legendary Tulse Hill & Dulwch Dragons.
