The date of the Club Day of Tulse Hill & Dulwich Hockey Club is under discussion and team behind the organising have been hard at work. We are delighted to be able to provide you with the all important details:

Venue: Dulwich College Sports Grounds

All matches will be held at Dulwich College Astroturf pitches – for directions please click here. Please note that parking is not permitted next to the hockey pitches so please park in the actual grounds of Dulwich College across the road (entrance from the South Circular). Alternatively, travel by train to West Dulwich station (from Victoria) which is only a 5 minute walk from the pitches. Showering facilities will be available next to the pitches and also at the clubhouse.

Entry Fee: £5.00 per person (playing)

Prizes for the winning teams!

On arrival please make your way to the “Club Day HQ”. All players will be allocated to teams on registration so please arrive at 10am prompt to register and be ready to play at 11am! However, if you can't make it for the entire day then turn up when you're able and we'll ensure you get a run around"

Please note you will be able to obtain lots of other helpful information about the 2008/09 season from the helpful people in this tent, so feel free to pop back throughout the day.

Food

Refreshments will be available all day! A BBQ will serve the finest burgers and sausages, plus water and soft drinks can also be purchased.

Clubhouse

And the Clubhouse in Burbage Road (For directions click here) will be open in the evening for drinks and to meet/mingle with other club members. Friends & family also welcome!

THD Launches New Club Kit...

For the start of the new season Tulse Hill & Dulwich Hockey Club have launched a new kit. After 7 or so years the current club kit has a number of different 'versions' that means that many of the teams take to the pitch with a collection of different tops. In addition to the this the club wanted to ensure that there was official kit for both away matches and mixed games.

The new kit will still continue to combine the best of the old Tulse Hill HC & the old Dulwich HC kit - therefor still featuring both red & green. The main changes will be that the women's sides will change green shorts/skirts to match the colour worn by the mens sides and the Mens 1s will no longer wear a different designed shirt to the rest of the club.

The new kit is optional for the 2009/10 season (although the old style kit is no longer being sold) and will become compulsory from the start of the 2010/11 season. In the meantime the kit is discounted until the end of 2009 to encourage people to make the switch as soon as possible. Any new players to the club will only have the option of purchasing the new kit.

In addition to the playing kit there is a range of other Tulse Hill & Dulwich branded clothing available too.

Summer Mixed League Hockey @ Thames Ditton

Tulse Hill & Dulwich Hockey Club & Epsom Hockey Club have entered a joint team into the Old Cranleighans Mixed Summer League that runs from May through to Aug. So if you are missing your hockey then why not come and have a run around mid-week in Thames Ditton. 

WHEN: Tues/Weds 7pm or 8pm

WHO: Everyone welcome
COST: £5/person

HOW DOES IT WORK: You will get an email with deatils of the match and you reply to confirm if you can play that game. Then a list will go out later in the week telling you who is playing. First come first served!

Summer Mixed Tours

Tulse Hill & Dulwich Hockey Club are a well renowned touring club and over the years have maintained a strong touring tradition which contines to this day. The vast majority of tours that the club participates in are mixed although individual team sides occasionally tour as well.

If you are interested in some festival hockey this summer then please let Mark Jones know and he will add you to the mailing list.

The tours planned for 2009 are as follows:

* Anglia Hornets HC and Tulse Hill & Dulwich Dragons combined. Run by Mark Jones.

Indoor Mixed Hockey

Interested in being on the indoor hockey mailing list?

You don't have to sign up for every session, however many or few you want to do! 

WHEN: Every Monday 9-10pm
WHERE: In Mitcham (map link)
WHO: Everyone welcome, mixed standards, more about fun, skills and having a run around!
COST: £3.50/person

HOW DOES IT WORK: You will get an email at the beginning of the week and you reply to confirm if you can play the following Monday night. Then a list will go out later in the week telling you who is playing. First come first served!
